Manufacturing
Sentient were engaged by a manufacturing business to redevelop their existing
(simple) work scheduling database.
Sentient completed the initial works and were then commissioned to expand
the system to an all of business solution. The final system manages the
business's processes from the quotation stage to delivery onsite including;
- Recording quotation and
order information to track Key Performance indicators
- Scheduling of individual jobs
of different types to suit the capacity of production equipment
- Scheduling deliveries to
match client requirements and production schedules
- Statusing project progress
and reporting
- Developing custom tools for
the preparation of the specific types of products the organisation
produces
- Sentient's systems
incorporated at least four previous, separate systems and centralised
data reducing duplication.
The business solution
was then further then extended to provide a secure internet interface for
clients to access and view their production schedules
online.

Sentient Systems
designed and developed systems for our Civil Engineering client enabling
improved document flow and centralized logging of email.
Civil Construction
Our client needed business
systems to manage business development activities and monthly cashflow.
Although relatively simple systems to design and implement, the interface and
operability were essential to ensure numerous users could access data easily
without significant training.
